                            RESOLUTION NO.   19773    
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR 
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO EXECUTE 
                   A CONTRACT WITH THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, 
                   DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, RELATIVE TO 
                   JOINT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF 
                   SHALLOWFORD ROAD FROM STATE ROUTE 153 TO LEE 
                   HIGHWAY, WITH THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA'S 
                   PORTION OF THE COST TO BE SIX HUNDRED 
                   SEVENTY THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED AND NO/100 
                   DOLLARS ($670,600.00).
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that the Administrator of the Department 
       of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to execute a Contract 
       with the State of Tennessee, Department of Transportation, 
       relative to joint responsibility for the development of 
       Shallowford Road from State Route 153 to Lee Highway, with the 
       City of Chattanooga's portion of the total cost of $3,353,000.00 
       to be $670,600.00.
